40 Years To Go Mix

AH Releases “40 Years To Go” Mix

“Another week, 40 more years to go.”

We continue our quest to cross off another week on our pursuit of early retirement. Only 2,080 more Fridays to endure before I can trade my desk for a beach chair. We all have our fantasies to about leaving our jobs to pursue our dreams, but struggle with the reality that we have to keep the lights on.

Every morning, as the first rays of sunlight peek through my windows, I’m reminded of why I put on pants in the morning. The pursuit of early retirement isn’t just a dream – it’s my daily mission, shaping every decision I make. I can’t help but feel a mix of determination and occasional frustration. I graze on company snacks for lunch with no 3-star trips now for 5-stars later. Some might see it as sacrifice, but I see it as investing in my freedom. There are days when I question if it’s worth it – especially when I see colleagues jetting off on exotic vacations while I’m planning staycations. But then I remind myself, they’re buying experiences, while I’m buying my future. Which everyone can do in their own right. Life is short and money is meant to be enjoyed.

FULL MIX:

My weekends are a balancing act of side hustles and self-care. I’ve become a master of finding entertainment, turning my apartment into my personal resort university. It’s not always easy, but there’s a certain thrill in watching my savings grow, knowing each dollar is a building block for my dream life. Sometimes, I catch myself daydreaming about that future – waking up without an alarm, pursuing passions without financial pressure, and having the freedom to say “yes” to life’s adventures on my own terms. It’s this vision that keeps me going, even on the toughest days.

To anyone out there considering this path, it’s not just about retiring early. It’s about redefining your relationship with work, money, and time. If you’re on the same valley of suck, here is a mix to at least get you closer to the day you’re bringing money building your own last name instead some corporations.
