Social Media will document wWIII
As 3000 US troops are deployed to Eastern Europe, our TikTok FYP and social feeds are full of jokes about the inevitable WWIII. The troops are supposedly only there to “show” support to our allies but if the past world wars are any indication, the US cannot cheer from the sideline. The US has not officially declared war since WWII, so this will be the first war fully documented and covered by not only global media, but social media.
