The 2022 NFL combine is going to be remembered for the freakish performances by some stand out wide outs that will make an impact on day one of being with an NFL franchise. While always fast, the 40 yard times this year were near record breaking and it was incredible to watch. Tyquan Thornton fell just short of John Ross’ 4.21 running an official 4.28.
WOW. JUST WOW.@BUFootball WR Tyquan Thornton might've just broken the all-time 40 record with a 4.21u.

Chris Olave was another stand out running an official 4.39. The soon to be star had a solid showing at the combine putting himself in great position for the 2022 draft.

An under the radar receiver in this years deep WR class is Bo Melton out of Rutgers. Dude has serious speed running a 4.34 and gives me Dionte Johnson vibes.
Asked what he wanted to show scouts at the NFL Combine this week, Bo Melton did not hesitate: “my speed.”

The former Rutgers star then went out and ran a 4.34 in the 40-yard dash tonight. pic.twitter.com/FHNJ5CZ369 https://t.co/EdZ4Z85DvL
A lot of young talent at WR in this years draft. It will be interesting to see who ends up where. Adding one of these speedsters to the right offense could be the difference this up coming season.
