Friends, Students, Juvenile Delinquents, lend me your ears…
Dalvin Cook has finally come to terms with the New York Football Jets, and I could not be happier. My personal fandom of Cook goes deeper than most, as I have been a long time fan of Florida State University. After Jameis Winston had won FSU a National Championship, there wasn’t much excitement until Cook had shook up college football with his intense play style of speed and power. Leading himself to a top 10 finish in the Heisman race in 2015 and 2016.
We’ve agreed to terms with RB Dalvin Cook.

Dalvin Cook was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2nd Round at pick 41. Ever since Cook entered the league he has continuously impressed us with his breakaway speed and slippery run style. Now, coming off four consecutive seasons of rushing for at least 1,000 yards, he is ready contribute to the ground and pound offense Robert Saleh and Joe Douglas have created.
What I like most about the offensive side of the ball this season is the gritty players that all have the same win now mentality. Now, having signed Rodgers, Cook, Lazard, and Cobb I am extremely excited to see how our younger offensive players develop behind these veteran talents. Especially having all of these players come out of the NFC North, one of the most competitive divisions in Football, it should be a kick in the ass for the win-now mentality Rodgers has been portraying all offseason. All us Jets fans have to hope for at this point is another veteran receiver signing (Mike Evans), as well as Offensive Line depth.
