A little appetizer for what is around the corner: The NBA offseason. As Nets fans wait for the next episode of their reality TV show, they were surprised with the news that Kyrie Irving opted in for his $36 million next season. I bet this doesn’t close the door for a trade. Kyrie just guaranteed himself $36 mill for what’s either going to be another playoff exit for the Nets, or he’s going to be traded as a one-year rental. There was no reason to opt out because if Kyrie hit the open market I don’t think he would be getting another max deal that him and his camp are hoping for. So now the Nets decide whether to eat the stale chip or blow up the whole ship.

Just thought the statement needed a correction as y’all continue to make money off of my NAME and countless others.
Irving has until Wednesday at 5 PM to file the paperwork on his opt-in. The Nets can still move Irving as an expiring contract, but the opt-in means he's no longer eligible to get the immediate long-term deal he wanted as part of a sign-and-trade.

John Wall! Clippers are going to add a former #1 overall pick for penny’s on the dollar. With a team that needs some guard help the clippers now have two veteran point guards in Wall and Reggie Jackson. I’m a John Wall believer and credit to Clippers Head Coach Ty Lue who coached a brittled Clippers team and had them competing all the way until losing to the T-Wolves in the play-in game. Not sure how much this moves the needle but the Clippers are definitely the more gangster squad of LA. If the Clippers come back totally healthy they are going to find a way to win a lot of games even with some other holes in their roster. Especially with PG and Kawhi expected to come to camp fully healthy. Only time will tell as the Clippers are trying to continue their momentum in being the better ball club in LA.

PG13: 111 (28% missed)
Kawhi: 222 (56% missed)
Wall: 287 (72% missed)#NBA #ClipperNation
